Your first avatar, step by step.

Follow these six steps to go from a character image to a live VTuber in OBS.

  1. 01

    Upload your character

    Choose a clear character image and give your avatar a name.

    A clear face and visible limbs work best.

  2. 02

    Generate your 3D avatar

    Tripo generates the 3D model and automatically adds a humanoid rig. Virmii then processes the result and prepares a downloadable VRM.

    This includes 3D modeling, rigging, and VRM export.

  3. 03

    Add AI expressions

    Generate a set of 13 blink, smile, and mouth images. Each set costs 20 credits without a subscription. Creator and Pro use included monthly generations first, then 20 credits per set. The initial charge is kept if generation fails. Each model version allows up to 2 free retries for missing or failed images; completed images are kept. Further retries are blocked after both are used. Free retries use no additional credits, included generations, or model retry attempts.

    Preview and calibrate

    Enable your camera, test each eye and your mouth, then adjust sensitivity.

    Your raw camera video stays on your device.

    Keep your model

    Download your VRM or return to Live Studio whenever you need it.

    AI expression playback stays in Virmii; it is not embedded in the VRM download.
